About Deborah Fox
For nearly 35 years, Dr. Deborah Fox has held various roles in upstate New York school systems. Since 2008, Dr. Fox has served as superintendent of schools for Livingston Manor Central School District in Livingston Manor, New York. This organization consists of 500 students ranging from prekindergarten to 12th grade. Among her accomplishments in this position are passing every annual budget and two capital improvement project totally financed from the district's capital reserve fund. Additionally, Dr. Deborah Fox successfully negotiated a five-year teacher's contract that concluded a two-and-a-half-year impasse.
Before joining Livingston Manor Central School District, Dr. Fox spent two decades with Otsego-Northern Catskills BOCES (Boards of Cooperative Educational Services). Titles she held with the organization include placement coordinator, business teacher, human resources coordinator, adult education teacher, summer youth employment director, district clerk, and executive secretary to the district superintendent. She also finished a 600-hour administrative internship as assistant principal through the College of St. Rose's educational administration and supervision program.
Following this period, Dr. Deborah Fox became K-12 building principal for Charlotte Valley Central School District, as well as assistant superintendent with Onteora Central School District. Spending four years with the latter institution before accepting her current role, Fox earned awards of excellence from state and national associations.
